Here it is!
As outlined in this morning’s One Slip post, I had a small disaster moment last week, meaning my plans to give you a full-fat never-before heard EP release had to change. Bah.
Instead, I’m going to give you a finger buffet of musical delights, so first up please enjoy ‘Where The Wild Things Went’ - a psychedelic soul shuffle with a thick slice of Rick Wright keyboards.
Like a fine wine, I’m also getting hints of Vangelis, a waft of Air along with my beloved wobbly Boards of Canada vibrato guitars. All in all, imagine your fave 80’s space cartoons soundtracked all over again.
Visually, this is an ode to lying around, reading and listening to music - how people used to dream and become creative. Perhaps they still do? Hope so.
Small geek note: I’m now mad for Arturia’s recreation of the Yamaha CS80 - it’s all over this and sounds huge and retro all at once.
Anyway, listen, share and tell your friends. More music ASAP.
Graeme
